Being the head of an organization is never easy. I’m the head of a college journalism club and I had a hard time trying to increase the members of our group. I’ve tried every possible advertisement that I can think of: posters, giving out flyers along the hallways, and even to the point of personally knocking at the dorm room of a student.

From the day I joined the club, I always wanted to make the group bigger. But with all the things that we tried to do it, no one seemed to be interested at all. We had ample budget to spend on projects, but we lack members to execute them. We tried wooing people to join our group but we were always turned down.

And then we tried making invitations through handing out promotional usb drives to students with our club name imprinted on them. When the students knew what we were giving out, almost all of them immediately got our marketing product. All of them were one in saying that the custom promotional usb drives that we gave would really help them with their studies. The advertising materials we used definitely made an impact to our market.

A couple of days later, membership started to pick up. People started signing up for our club, and more students showed interest in joining our group. Perhaps the logo promotional usb drives really did make wonders for our organization. Our club is more popular now. And that popularity translated into a big increase in our membership.
